RWB Comedy Club is our town's very own comedy night at The Angel Hotel, featuring regular/professional acts from the Comedy Circuit in London and the South. Every few months, we will host a line up of established and newer comedy talent, including acts that have graced the stage of bigger venues like the world famous Comedy Store and have TV and radio credits to their names.
Our launch night in March 2023 at the Angel Hotel was a sell out show. His fearlessness on stage coupled with devastating punchlines make him an excellent addition to any comedy night. His crowd work ability has been compared to fellow Irishman Andrew Maxwell. When Winter's not touring he is London based. He has appeared on Channel 4 in the UK, TV3 in Ireland and most recently heard on BBC Radio.
Nathaniel Ray is local to RWB but has been cutting his comedy teeth in London for the past couple of years. He notes, "My acerbic observations and anecdotes, often based around pop culture, have been going down well at many of London's best New act/New material nights, and I would love the opportunity to perform in my hometown."
Charmian studied clowning and circus through workshops with Philippe Gauliere and Theatre de Complicite, but found things were a lot more fun if she stopped trying to juggle and just told jokes. She has performed professional sets at a host of UK comedy clubs including The Comedy Store, Bearcat, Banana, Glee, Agraman gigs, Up The Creek, Tunnel Club, Stand Up Club and many many more. She's a regular pre-covid MC for Downstairs at The Kings Head and has annually compered the Comedy Cabaret Marquee at the Glastonbury Festival as well as the all nighter Mavericks Marquee. As one of the comedy tutors at the legendary Jackson's Lane Comedy Workshops (where Micky Flanagan first tried his stuff), she featured in his recent SKY documentary Peeping Behind The Curtain.
