For the best night out in Bassett

RWB Comedy Club is our town's very own comedy night at The Angel Hotel, featuring regular/professional acts from the Comedy Circuit in London and the South. Every few months, we will host a line up of established and newer comedy talent, including acts that have graced the stage of bigger venues like the world famous Comedy Store and have TV and radio credits to their names.

Our launch night in March 2023 at the Angel Hotel was a sell out show. To be sure of being on our mailing list for details of the next show, send us your email now (links at foot of this page)

Our upcoming show is

Thursday, October 30, 2025 in Angel Hotel. Doors open at 18:00:00, show starts at 19:30:00.

Here's what people have been saying about our sell-out show in March 2023

Great to see a sell-out last night. We said it was the best night we've had at The Angel.
Don't make us wait too long for the next one
Brilliant! We loved it.

Who is performing at the next gig?

Madeleine Brettingham

Winner of the prestigious 2025 'So you think you're funny' competition and reining Bath New Comedy Award Winner, Madeleine is a fearless and feisty stand-up, who also has TV credits as a writer for top comedy shows like Frankie Boyle's New World Order, Would I Lie To You?, Have I Got News For You, That Mitchell and Webb Look, Horrible Histories.

Benji Doherty

Ben's comedy isn't for the faint-hearted - it's brutal, refreshing, and hilarious. Whether he's talking about the chaos of raising four daughters or giving his sharp take on feminism, you'll be laughing at the things you've never thought to laugh at.

Brambles

With high energy, the occasional cheeky pun, and a whole bunch of fun anecdotes chucked in - Brambles has got ya back if you wanna have a laugh.

Peter Brush

A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter Brush unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.

Please note: On occasion, an act that has been booked and advertised may be unavailable on the night. They will be replaced by an act of equivalent standard.
